We take care of our own and the environment
The Aramis group of companies has over 4,500 colleagues who collaborate every day in a professional environment that embraces the directions of the 21st century in terms of eco-friendly implementations in research, development and production. The company’s Department of Environment applies established procedures for fluid and transparent actions on this side through the annual training plan and regular communications.
The production factories, certified ISO 14.001 on Environment and ISO 9001 on Quality, have tools for continuous monitoring of the degree of sustainability for the entire research, development and production process. We use equipment that streamlines the consumption of raw materials and the amount of waste generated.
We encourage the responsible use of natural resources. We are guided by international standards in terms of sustainability, recycling and the ecological. We use FSC wood, cellulose-based materials made by FSC-certified suppliers and multilayer wood materials made from controlled culture wood from Europe.
We carry out actions to ensure a pace that we constantly develop and improve. Polyurethane foams are created from natural polyols – natural plant base oils. The state-of-the-art technology, through continuous automation, is specifically designed to disconnect production if a certain degree of emissions is exceeded.
Simultaneously, the efficiency of the production flow within the company is an aspect that we emphasize, especially in order to reduce the internal transport and, implicitly, the emitted noxious substances; which is why some of the transport equipment, such as forklifts, are electric.
The recycling process is set up throughout the company, and the traceability of waste is done up to the final recycler depending on the type of material. This idea is based on the revised annual waste reduction and recycling plan.
In the future, we plan to transition to Green Energy, which will include the replacement of classic lighting to LED and the implementation of an efficient water consumption system. External projects are closely related with the environment.
Established in 2012, the Aramis Family Association (AFA) actively contributes to improving the quality of life of the Aramis Group employees and their families. Given their specific needs, we have created opportunities that facilitate their access to a range of services and outlined programs through which we offer support: medical services, support in professional and personal development, financial consulting, alongside a stable and safe working environment.
The Association’s activities also focuses on projects for the development of the regional community, such as supporting educational programs, local competitions and promoting cultural activities.
